In their everyday work, social workers meet people who cannot manage reality surrounding them. They try to help them to independently overcome hardships these people face. They do it in various ways, using social work methods, from which most frequently used are methods of dealing with an individual or a group (family). To realise the given tasks, they use the environment organization method the least commonly. One of the reasons for social exclusion of an individual is the absence of an accurate diagnosis of reasons for isolation of individuals from other people functioning in their social zone. They lock themselves in their homes, isolate from living in wider social circles. It leads to the feeling of loneliness, to being lonely. This state is mostly experienced by elderly people who, undoubtedly, have to be of interest of social workers, because the quality of life of elderly people will depend on their tasks organization skills
