Dr. Costas is assistant professor of medicine; Dr. Garćia-Palmieri is professor of medicine and head of department; Dr. Feliberti is assistant professor in epidemiological research; and Dr. Coĺon is assistant professor of medicine in charge of biochemical research, University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, San Juan 00905. Dr. Aixaĺa is director of the Heart Program if the Department of Health of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Dr. Blanton is also an assignee of the National Heart Institute to the Heart Health Program of Puerto Rico.
