The present work treats certain orientation reversing involutions on $(4k+1)$ -dimensional homotopy spheres with $2k$-dimenstional fixed point sets. The author calculates the explicit obstruction for these involutions to be isovariantly homotopy equivalent to the linear involution on the standard sphere
