This study is the first step to apply the theoretical formula developed with regard to the field of rectilineal figures to that of curved figures.Figures drawn on a sheet of paper and luminous figures were employed to examine how the reversal of brightness proportion between the figure and its background influenced the magnitude of the field-force (vector field).A small test-point was presented at various positions away from the center of a circle and circular arcs. Results indicate that, (1) the reversal of the brightness has little influence on the vector field, (2) the amount of displacement of the test-point varies according to the distance between the figure and the test-point, and is influenced by the length of the circular arc.The foregoing scems to allow to conclude that the theoretical formula of the rectilineal figures can be applied to estimate the vector field of the curved figures
