Since publication of the well-known article by F.V. Bassin entitled "The force of the ego in psychological defense" [1], the various characteristics of psychological defense have been actively discussed in the Soviet psychological literature. Defense processes, defense mechanisms, neurotic psychological defense, and psychotic defense have been identified in addition to the classic set of defense mechanisms (repression, denial, rationalization, projection). In addition, some authors introduce such defense mechanisms as constriction, overevaluation, aggravation, and dysphoric defense
