The article examines a number of key aspects of the discourse and praxis of the information society, analyzes its conceptual models and mechanisms of transformation of everyday experience in the context of digitalization. The research is conducted in two areas of socio-philosophical analysis: the concept and distinctive features of the information society, and the features of framing everyday experience in the digital age. The paper compares two versions of understanding the essence of the information society: the “strong” version, which considers it as a qualitatively new social formation, and the “weak” version, which interprets information and digital infrastructures as a technological structure of a late capitalist society. Both the positive aspects of the informatization of society and critical assessments of this process are considered, including the risks of the formation of “algocracy” and “supervisory capitalism”. The ambivalent nature of the information society and the complexity of constructing its logically consistent conceptual models are emphasized. Special attention is paid to the study of the impact of digital technologies on a person’s daily life through the prism of frame analysis. The article considers the role of information technologies, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things in the transformation of social practices, cultural norms, and the value system of everyday life in modern society. The general conclusion is made that the appeal to the concept of frames is one of the most promising ways of theoretical analysis of the essence, principles, key characteristics, and trends in the development of the information society
