The amphora manufacturing seems to be the principal activity in Kuass potteries, at least since fith century b.c. At first, the amphoras produced in those furnace, were classified in four types. If we fix on types II and III, we pretend to demostrate that it is only one type, known at present like Mañá-Pascual A4. We think type II restitution is caused by a wrong reconstruction from Banassa amphoras fragments. On the other hand, we want to certain through the last findings of this type in Gibraltar area, that it is a type of salting amphora, and deduce that Kuass potteries had to provide of amphoras to the salting industry nearby, not documented in this zone at that time
