This article examines six hoards containing imitative coins of Macedonian tetradrachms of Philip II, found between 2016 and 2023, several kilometers east of the city of Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia Oblast, Ukraine. All six finds belong to a class of chance discovery that has emerged thanks to the wide-spread availability of metal detecting technologies. The presence of the coin hoard clusters in the historical territory of Podillia supports the idea, albeit in a limited fashion, that monetary circulation extended into this region in the 4th to 1st centuries BCE
