Cet article a pour but de présenter avec précision la structure architecturale et le plan des baptistères paléochrétiens de Chypre, par une analyse de leurs aménagements architecturaux et liturgiques. Cette analyse, fondée sur les témoignages archéologiques et les sources littéraires disponibles, identifie des particularités locales qui permettent de différencier clairement ces exemples chypriotes d’autres structures baptismales contemporaines dans différentes régions de l’orbis christianus antiquus
