This study focuses on a new figure of literary mediation between the author and the reader, the sensitivity reader, who is emerging in the current literary field, with particular visibility in North America. Given a dynamic that allows literature to be approached in its social dimension, we will attempt to identify issues that arise both in the sphere of production and in that of reception based on this new practice that permeates contemporary literature
