In this study, Archaeozoological investigations of the animal bones from two pits which were discovered during the Klloba excavations dating from the Early Bronze Age III to the Middle Bronze Age were published. A complete sheep and a complete pig skeleton were unearthed in their anatomical positions and both pit is also associated with silo structures. In the pit where the pig skeleton was found, the remains of a cattle were also discovered. Sheep and pig are about a year old; this shows us that the sheep might have been killed and put in the pit around May. While these two votive pits in Klloba are thought to be related to the concept of fertility; many other votive pits in Anatolia are associated with memorial burial rituals or underground gods
