Christian Knorr von Rosenroth is known for the publication of the Kabbala denudata at the end of the 17th century. But far from having been limited to translation, Knorr was also a creative commentator, as it appears in his recently recovered Messias puer . After a description of Knorr’s production, the article examines the pedagogical approach developed, showing the cultural transfer at work at various levels as well as Knorr’s quest for a new paradigm for Christian Kabbalah
