Andra Kalnača. 2014. A Typological Perspective on Latvian Grammar. Warsaw, Berlin: De Gruyter Open. ISBN: 9783110411300 (hardback), ISBN: 9783110411317 (e-book). The book under review is one of the so far very few attempts of a Latvian linguist to write about her own language specifically addressing an international audience, and as such would deserve not only attention but also sincere welcome, enhanced by the fact that the book is an open access publication
