The Gallo-Roman pottery workshop in Puyloubier (B.-du-Rh.). Site survey and study of the material. On a site previously known, magnetic prospection revealed a group of kilns. Systematic surface collection in the surrounding fields yielded kiln wastes, such as fragments of amphoras, tiles, and common pottery. This was a pottery workshop of medium importance (less than 2,5 acres), containing three or four kilns. The study of the material collected has revealed the particularities of the different productions. Among the amphoras a group stands out that is not well known, called "variant B" of the "Gauloise 1" form. Analysis by neutronic activation clusters all the productions from this pottery workshop into one single fairly homogeneous group. The workshop functioned throughout the first century A.D. and was abandoned during the second century
