The revised text suggests a new reading and a new interpretation for inscriptions found in Nîmes. The text Escingillus Valtaci appears, whose first element is quite clear, but whose second leaves room for doubt. This inscription refers to the Parcae cult. Upon examination of documents on this subject, there seems to be a concentration in Nîmes, and in Provence among the peoples living inland from Marseille
