This article looks at addressing some topics which are considered relevant for studies on the complex relation between youth and politics.A survey of 492 twelfth grade students of Public High Schools in the Commune of Maipú was carried out, in which 4 topics were addressed: the value of politics, the value of democracy, political participation and political socialization.The results of this study relates from a criticical perception point of view of youth regarding the four topics which were analysed, coinciding with the results of national surveys which we have provided within the last few years
