This is concerned with fishery surveys and limnology of Lake Victoria (1927), Lakes Albert and Kioga (1928), and lakes studied by the Cambridge expedition to African Lakes, 1930–31, on Lakes Naivasha, Baringo, Turkana (Rudolf) in Kenya; and in Uganda — Lakes Edward and George, Bunyoni and Nabugabo. Other lakes farther south are mentioned briefly, namely Tanganyika, Rukwa, Bangweulu, and Malawi (Nyasa)
