Il tema che mi propongo di affrontare è assai vasto: accennerò solo ad alcune delle molte questioni che sono sul tappeto. Anzitutto va detto che manca tuttora una trattazione esauriente dell’epigrafia funeraria etrusca, nonostante, o forse proprio perché, le iscrizioni funerarie rappresentino la componente di gran lunga più cospicua, in termini quantitativi, del corpus di quella lingua.
