The topic of this contribution is the method chosen for a sub-project, which was carried out in the context of a more extended study on “Demographic Change at Universities,” Saxony being the focal point. 1 For the sub-project qualitative expert interviews were used, part of them being conducted on the telephone. For the time being, qualitative telephone (expert) interviews have seldomly been discussed in literature.
