The data presented in this paper were derived as part of a comprehensive, ongoing archaeological program conducted on the Deh Luran Plain of southwestem Iran. Sponsored by Rice University and funded by the National Science Foundation, this program has been under the general direction of Frank Hole. The majority of the data was collected during my 1968-69 reconnaissance of the Plain (Neely 1969), although some information comes from our 1961 and 1963-64 field work as well (Hole, Flannery, and Neely 1969)
