The revolutionary transformation of Venezuela has in 13 years involved a drastic structural change between the state and society as well as between the state and the economy; this has also crucially involved the revolutionizing of the Venezuelan people. No revolutionary transformation could be sustained for such a long period otherwise. In an amazing dialectical process in which the downtrodden, the driving social and political force of the Bolivarian process, not only push for radical transformations through mass activity, they themselves undergo an intellectual transformation by becoming increasingly conscious agents of the change they began spontaneously to push for back on February 27, 1989, when they shook the foundations of the IV Republic by staging the now legendary "Caracazo."KeywordsGender Inequality IndexUniversal Periodic ReviewConscious AgentRevolutionary TransformationPeasant RevoltThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
