Das an eine Peregrine gerichtete Reskript, durch das Septimius Severus die ltp sei es einführte, sei es einschärfte, ist zweimal überliefert, einmal isoliert (BGU I 267), das andere Mal unter anderen exempla zur Rolle des Zeitablaufes (P. Straßburg 22). Zuerst sei der Wortlaut nach BGU I 267 zitiert1: Μακρᾶς νομῆς παραγραφὴ τοῖς δικαίαν αἰτίαν ἐσχήκοσι καὶ ἄνευ τινòς ἀμφισβητήσεως ἐν τῆ νομῆ γενομένοις πρòς μὲν τοὺς ἐν ἀλλoτρία πόλει διατρείβοντας ἐτῶν εἲκοσι ἀριθμῶ βεβαιοῦται, τοὺς δὲ ἐπί τῆς αὐτῆς ἐτῶν δέκα
