The human condition is here understood as being both existential (in the metaphysical context) and societal. The former, as we have seen, is the sense that people make of their life and death; the latter, the position in society, is usually determined, on the one hand, by a combination of birth, wealth, and profession (in short by social status and habitat) and, on the other hand, by gender.KeywordsHuman ConditionCore CountryCharitable ActivityCivilized WorldHoly BookThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
