Discusses and integrates three studies conducted and reported by graduate students (M. Moore, D. Kirkbride and D. Stokes) and designed to identify bodily expressions of ego states. Photographs and videotape records were analyzed for the basic postures of each individual and correspondence of these postures to specific ego states determined. Patterns of movement charted in various ego states are described. Fourteen specific hypotheses for clinical use are derived
