A systematization of families of archetypes, derived in part from Jung and Berne, and augmented by introductions of the author, is developed through correlation of these families with Erikson's stages of psychosocial development and Campbell's stages of the heroic quest. It is suggested that the goal of script analysis should be the relating of the individual life plan to the historic mythic plan which provides a script for a satisfying and fulfilling life according to accumulated human wisdom
