This article describes phenomena that refer to so-called past-life experiences as observed in the training and therapeutic experience of the authors. Case histories are given, and specific properties of these experiences are described. Hypotheses in terms of TA script theory are formulated, followed by a theoretical explanation in terms of extended TA script theory. A past-life state of consciousness is defined, and TA treatment of traumas reported in past-life states is considered.
