Vickers Jr. a member of the Central Intelligence Agency's Senior Executive Service, was assigned last year to the National Intelligence Council as the National Intelligence Officer for Warning. During his CIA career, he served as Head of Analysis at the National Photographic Interpretation Center and at the Agency's Office of Imagery Analysis. He was also a Deputy Director of the CIA's Office of Africa and Latin America. Mr. Vickers now teaches courses on intelligence in the Strategic Studies program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, where he is a visiting Fellow.
