Dr. Roy Rempel, Editor of the National Network News, published in Ottawa, Ontario, by the Canadian Defence Association, is also a foreign affairs and defense researcher for the underground royal commission (urc), an ongoing inquiry into public accountability in Canada. In the 1990s, Dr. Rempel taught international relations at Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland, and worked in the Intergovernmental Affairs Secretariat of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition on Parliament Hill, from 1998–2002.
