Holly Porteous Holly Porteous has been a Researcher with the Parliamentary Research and Information Service of the Library of Parliament, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, since 2009. Previously, she was a Senior Strategic Policy Advisor at the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) and, earlier, a Senior Analyst at the Electronic Warfare Associates of Canada. Holder of a Master's degree in Economic and Social Studies from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom, Ms. Porteous has also had experience as a journalist and as an analyst with the Directorate of Social and Economic Analysis of Canada's Department of National Defence. Her essays and reviews have appeared in numerous journals and newspapers
