The contemporary Black faith community today is facing issues and challenges that are forcing it to consider crucial questions that relate to the legacy, future and place of the Black church and Black theology in contemporary culture. If the Black faith community is to address these issues and challenges compellingly, it is crucial that it locate suitable resources to aid in this task. Such modes of informed praxis are compelling responses to the contemporary cultural challenges and demands which face the Black faith community today
