Morgenthau is Albert A. Michclson Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science and Modern History at Chicago. He also has served as a consultant in the Departments of State and Defense and has been a visiting professor at colleges throughout the country. Among his many books are Politics Among Nations (3d rev. ed.; New York: Alfred Knopf, 1966) and Vietnam and the United States (Washington, D.C.: Public Affairs Press, 1965).
