Essay| February 01 1969 Thailand’s Role in Southeast Asia Kenneth Young Kenneth Young President, The Asia Society Kenneth Young entered the State Department in 1942, and served until 1958. He was appointed Ambassador to Thailand from 1961 to 1963. He became president of The Asia Society in 1964 and has written widely on Southeast Asia.
