70 Recent British Publications V The primary concern of these occasional surveys is with books relating to the New Testament or Patristic fields, but recent publications include a num- ber of works outwith these limits which may yet be of interest to readers of this journal. It would therefore seem appropriate to make brief mention of them before turning to the principal subjects of this review.
