V prispevku prikazujemo rezultate ankete o vejici, s katero smo ugotavljali, katera vejična mesta so za dijake štiriletnih (v glavnem gimnazijskih) programov in študente različnih študijskih področij najbolj zahtevna. V razpravnem delu prispevka nato rezultate povezujemo s srednješolskim učnim procesom, kot ga za to temo določa učni načrt, ter pravopisnimi pravili, ki bi jih bilo smiselno (in treba) prenoviti
