Marital integration in the white dual-earner family. In this study the support the wife received from her husband in her dual role was measured and the relationship determined which this support has with her career involvement and satisfaction, marital integration and the application of time management in her work situation. A total of 250 respondents from the Johannesburg area, consisting of white married women with full time Occupations and live in dependent children were selected by means of the snowball method. Statistical analysis resulted in positive correlations between the following variables: namely that the greater the support received by the wife from her spouse, the more positive the marital integration; the better the time management, the more positive the work involvement and satisfaction. These variables arc interwoven and point out that the career life of the wife is not fully detached from her family life or the relationship with her husband
