He is Professor of Criminology and Director of the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cape Town. He is also a Professor at the Regulatory Institutions Network, Australian National University. His most recent books are Governing security: Explorations in policing and justice (with Les Johnston, 2003, Routledge), Imagining security (with Jennifer Wood, 2007, Willan), and Policing (with Michael Kempa, forthcoming, Routledge).Jennifer WoodJennifer Wood is a Fellow at the Regulatory Institutions Network at the Australian National University.
