Introduction. The pollution problem, which leads to freshwater shortages, requires new purification methods. The development of new synthesis technologies and the study of the characteristics of filtration materials allow us to improve existing purification methods. The unique adsorption properties of composites based on alk - MXene and Pr3Fe5O12 are currently a priority area of research. Materials and Methods. Nanostructured powders based on 2D alk-MXene/Pr3Fe5O12 composites were synthesized using hydrothermal and self-assembly techniques. Using SEM and X-ray diffraction, the influence of synthesis conditions, namely solution pH, concentration, temperature, and etching time, on the composition, structure, and properties of the resulting materials was studied and analyzed. The influence of the microstructural features of the alk-MXene/Pr3Fe5O12 samples on their magnetic properties was also examined. Results. The results of the synthesis, characterization, and analysis of new materials for industrial wastewater filtration and treatment based on 2D alk-MXene/Pr3Fe5O12 composites are presented. The required properties of the studied materials were obtained and studied using a combination of modern synthesis methods and advanced research technologies. The use of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) allowed us to establish patterns of improved adsorption properties by monitoring the microstructure and elemental composition of the studied materials. Discussion. A detailed and in - depth study of the microstructure allowed us to analyze the relationship between the magnetic parameters of the powders under study and their structural features. Obtaining materials with characteristics acceptable for industrial application is only possible through the targeted formation of the desired micro/nanostructure of magnetic powders. Conclusion. The study's results provide scientifically sound recommendations for synthesizing powder structures based on two-dimensional composites, which will help address a number of challenges encountered in the development of various modern microelectronic devices. This research represents the initial stage of a large-scale research project, the completion of which will enable the creation of functional materials with tailored properties. Suggestions for practical applications and directions for future research. The prospect of using the studied materials as filters for cleaning industrial wastewater is shown
