The article is dedicated to the memory of Aida Grigoryevna Petrenko, Doctor of Biological Sciences, a renowned archeozoologist, and marks her 80th birthday. For over forty years, A. G. The development of animal husbandry with the ancient tribes of the region became the major theme of her research, culminating in the defense of the PhD and then Dr. Habilitat theses. Her sphere of interest also included problems related to the role of animals in the burial rite. A. G.
