Research Article| March 01 2020 An Introduction Brian Hu, Brian Hu Brian Hu is assistant professor of Television, Film, and New Media at San Diego State University. He is the author of Worldly Desires: Cosmopolitanism and Cinema in Hong Kong and Taiwan (Edinburgh University Press, 2018) and has published in Screen, Velvet Light Trap, and other journals. He is the artistic director of the San Diego Asian Film Festival and the co-producer of the Asian American film history podcast Saturday School.
