The Longitudinal Relationship Between Bullying Victimization and Adolescents' Sleep Quality
A Moderated Mediation Model
Bibliographic Data
School bullying victimization has been shown to be associated with adolescents' sleep quality; however, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. The current study examined the mediating effect of rumination on the relationship between school bullying victimization and sleep quality, as well as the moderating effect of perceived teacher support. Two waves of data (T1 and T2) were collected 6 months apart from 961 Chinese adolescents (51.5% female; Mage at T1 = 14.8). Results indicated that school bullying victimization at baseline positively predicted adolescents' poor sleep quality at T2 ( β = 0.11, t = 3.62, p β = 0.08, t = 3.12, p β = −0.06, t = −2.16, p
