History of the Emptoz pharmaceutical company – This is a history of two pharmaceutical specialities which had a good success from the 1900’ years to World War II. The former of these, named «O uataplasme du Dr Ed. Langlebert » , was a bandage. Until the 1940’ it was manufactured by a company held by the founder’s widow and managed from 1914 by Albert Emptoz, a pharmacist. The latter product, named «Fluodyle » , was launched in 1921. During the 1940 years, the Sabatier-Emptoz became Emptoz Laboratories and pursued the manufacturing of both specialities. Afterwards, they were absorbed by the Delalande Laboratories in 1960
