The aging of the population and its feminization are among the most striking social phenomena in contemporary Western society. However, aging does not mean withdrawal from social and political life, and various retired women are redrawing the contours of their social and political commitment. In several Western countries, more and more retired women’s collectives are emerging, focusing on one issue or another, but always with the aim of improving society. The feedback from this pre-survey aims to deepen our knowledge of this new type of social and political commitment embarked upon by these collectives of retired women. The aim is to understand who these women are who decide to set up social and political collectives in retirement, their commitment pathways, their current practices, and the meaning of their commitment for them
