This article discusses corruption as a form of violence, initially explaining violence in a broader spectrum, and likewise the concept of corruption, noting points of convergence between such concepts, in order to observe the insertion of corruption as a form of violence. From there, we delimit the research object of this article, in an approach to corruption in the public sector, practiced by public agents. Thus, we analyze which subjective elements integrate and interfere in the various forms of corruption, especially the one we delimited
