Präfigurative Politik zielt darauf ab, gesellschaftliche Alternativen im Hier und Jetzt zu erproben. Anhand der Anti-Lithium-Proteste in Extremadura, Spanien, untersucht dieser Beitrag, inwiefern präfigurative Praktiken zu einer post-extraktivistischen Transformation beitragen können. Dabei zeigen sich sowohl ihr Potenzial als auch ihre Grenzen: Während sie ein Lernraum für alternative Beziehungsweisen und post-transformatorische Subjektivitäten sind, bleibt ihr Einfluss auf institutioneller Ebene begrenzt. Die Analyse reflektiert zudem das Spannungsfeld zwischen präfigurativen und staatszentrierten Strategien anti-extraktiver Proteste
