Podcasting, as a new form of media and communication, has become increasingly popular in recent years. As the number of podcasts and listeners continue to rise, the media industry has started to recognize podcasts as a viable and profitable form of communication. Presently, popular podcast topics include comedy, entertainment, news, and sports. Faith-based or religious podcasts have been consistently a popular topic, as well. To contribute to the scant faith-based podcast literature and to bring attention to this under researched area, the current research, using descriptive methodology investigated trends of a faith-based podcast using four main data points. These data points were overall podcast performance, episode downloads, apps and technology used by listeners, most used device by listeners, and listener location. Key findings included most popular episode length and device most used by listeners. Finally, the study offers discussion and conclusions which could aid faith-based communicators, creators, managers, and administrators to imagine how podcasting could aid them to reach organizational goals
