The number of Turkish NGOs operating in the aid sector is increasing by the day. In 2020, Trkiye's foreign aid for development and humanitarian purposes amounted to $ 8.8 billion. About $401.87 million of this amount was contributed by various Turkish NGOs. In this paper, I delve deeper into this to try to answer some critical questions such as: Are Turkish NGOs capable of developing their own capacities mechanism and capacities in light of these large figures of donations? Can they run effective fundraising campaigns? And are they able to develop proper mechanisms to mobilize their volunteers properly? The case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the research. The data of the research were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. Turkish charities cannot develop their own capacities adequately and correctly. Turkish charities often fail to promote their campaigns to various categories including young as well as old donors. The most important feature of Turkish aid associations is that they have branches and representative offices in all provinces. In addition, the large number of volunteer armies enables them to act quickly in fundraising campaigns
