Amenhotep III ruled Egypt for 38 years as the 9th ruler of the New Kingdom 18th dynasty. During his reign, the Ancient Egyptian State lived its heyday. Although he commanded one of the most equipped armies of his time, he is known not for his warrior aspect, but for the importance he gives to culture and arts. The great temples, statues and other works of art built by Amenhotep III have an important place in Ancient Egyptian art. With the peaceful diplomacy he followed, he reigned away from war, in luxury and prosperity. There are more foreign princesses in his harem than in previous periods. Women's sculptures, carvings and paintings are also frequently encountered in this period. Sculptures and artworks from the reign of Amenhotep III are now on display at the Cleveland art museum and the British Museum. In our study, in which we discussed the biography of III Amenhotep, foreign sources rather than domestic sources were used. There are few local academic studies about Amenhotep III, one of the most powerful Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt, and most of the studies deal with the Egyptian State in the New Kingdom Period in general terms. The king is not treated biographically. We hope to contribute to the history of Ancient Egypt with our study, which deals with the life and activities of Amenhotep III, who has an important place in the history of art, religion and science in Ancient Egypt
