Narrative Construction of the Self in Contemporary Polish Personalist Psychology

This article examines how contemporary Polish personalist psychology constructs the self through narrative from a philosophical–linguistic angle. It argues that agency, responsibility, meaning, and integration function as constitutive categories of personhood. Using hermeneutic reconstruction and qualitative discourse analysis, the study identifies recurring semantic fields and grammatical/evaluative patterns that stabilise a normative, agentic, dialogical subject. It clarifies key anthropological presuppositions and their implications for debates on narrative identity
