The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference in perceptions of the harmful effects of marijuana use among graduate and undergraduate college students. Data were collected from 30 graduate and 30 undergraduate college students who currently attend Coppin State University. The mode of measurement consisted of a modified version of the Monitoring the Future Survey. Data from the study were coded numerically and analyzed using an independent t-test. Results indicated that there was not a statistically significant difference between graduate and undergraduate college students’ perceptions of the harmful effects of marijuana use.Keywords: Marijuanasubstance abuseillicit drugsharmful effects of marijuana
