There is a lack of studies that examine the concept of co-creation between local communities and tourists. This research uses qualitative methods and tries to explore the perceptions of local fishermen who conduct fishing tourism by examining the concept of co-creation. The empirical findings reveal that the fishing crew significantly affects the experience that each visitor receives from whether or not the fishermen adopt the variable of co-creation. The way in which the tourists will be involved in this experiential activity seems to have direct impact on the experience brokers, both during social interaction and after the fishing excursion
